My first week back to school on my senior year was pretty slow, it didnt really seem as if I was gone that long. Seeing the same people over again for the fourth and last year wasn’t that exciting. I did get excited about our amazing band program though. 168 band students this year! Knowing the begining part of our march for our very first game is also a very big accomplishment. That’s never happened. Our work ethic and our love for what we do will be shown tonight during half time. I’m hoping that tonight after we finish our drill and we’re standing there at the very end while all the Roughneck fans cheer us on, it will hit me. This is my last first game. I made it this far, and my high school journey is about to come to an end sooner than I think. I want, and will leave this school knowing I am proud of what I left behind.
